Costco to Resume Selling Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola will return to Costco shelves next week, the Associated Press reports.

The wholesaler dropped the popular soft drink last month due to a pricing dispute, but that's been settled, Costco says.

Costco CFO Richard Galanti told investors Thursday that Coca-Cola would be back "around Monday," the AP said.

"Our signs basically said it all -- until we can provide our members with these products at competitive prices and provide our members with value, we are not prepared to sell it and we are now going to sell it," Galanti told the AP.

Coca-Cola didn't want to make the price cuts Costco wanted in order to keep profits high for the soft drink maker, the AP said.

Two beverage retailers in my area have dropped carrying Coke products altogether because their prices became unreasonable. This is very disappointing to me because I really like the new Fuze juices!

I love costco, and agree about coffee at their refreshment stand. everyone walks into Costco with a starbux, so why not offer normal person coffee and at a decent price that doesn't taste like its been made with burned beans, like starbux does.

Amandas clothing was at least made in America, but they are choosing to go with a company that is made elswhere. Thanks Costco.

I really wish they would bring back the bottled Coca-Cola from Mexico sweetened with sugar and NOT the high fructose corn syrup. That is great Cola!

We are unable to purchase product off their delivery truck but continued to purchase product in the local discount store, which we in turn sold to our customers. They want us to pay over $9/case off the truck when we can purchase the same amount at a discount store for less than $5.

You can always beat the price of soda, you can usually beat the price of bumblebee tuna, so long as it's on sale somewhere else. But day after day, the value is there. Thanks for sticking up for us, Costco. Please continue to do so. If it isn't reasonable, I wont get it. Same goes for BJ's (yes I belong there too) and Sam's club.
