Paula Deen Hit in the Face with a Ham

Paula Deen may love ham, but not this much.

She was helping unload hams for Hosea Feed the Hungry in Atlanta on Monday, when she was hit in the face with a flying pork product.

"Oh, I didn't know it was being thrown," she says in the video.

Deen is no stranger to public humiliation. Earlier this year, her pants fell down during a demonstration at the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival.

But like Miami mooning incident, Deen has quickly moved beyond Monday's pork fracas.

"Yes it's true, I should have ducked, but it's worth a ham in the face to feed so many," she says on Twitter of her "ham-tastrophy."

Let us know what you think of Paula Deen in the comments below!

I like Paula but her support of this company is bothersome.

For me, I don't think it was done on purpose and y'all should quit pickin' on the poor person who slung the pig. Had it been me, I would have made sure it was frozen and pitched it harder. I used to be a quazi fan of hers until I realied what side of the fence she is on on issues that are dear to all pure American. Gay Rights Advocate, Obama supporter, Liberal agenda guru. I wouldn't go across the drive way to see her or hear her and I won't waste time watching her phoney southern belle hipocrasy.

She was lending a helping hand to others--perhaps she was "the acting angel in disguise" for the less fortunate, but even Jesus turned the other cheek. So did Paula, and a lack of decorum of one person's part, did nothing but to show her sense of dignity at the repugnancy of throwing the ham. Paula, I think you are wonderful. You go, girlfriend!-)

She came up from selling sandwiches in lunch bags to becoming who she is today. She is not only an awesome cook; she is also and awesome mom and an inspiration to single mothers showing they can make it no matter what! God Bless you Paula!

She is a beautiful lady, and I have great respect for her and her family. Some of the comments are
so asinine. I feel the guy was not aware of what
was to transpire from his actions. He also was
there to help with the food delivery. I feel for
them both. God bless all.
