Costco Coming to Manhattan

The suburbs are finally coming to the island of Manhattan as Costco is opening a 105,000 square-foot store in East Harlem on Thursday.

The store, at 116th Street and FDR drive, is the first store in the East River Plaza complex, WCBS-TV reports. But because it's Manhattan, this member's only warehouse club is 50 percent smaller than the average Costco.

Costco is slowly increasing prices, to increase the profit margin. they have even incresed the price of Kirkland bottled water. Coke will not play games with Costco obviously, by decresing their price, and then Costco will also increse the price to the members.. thereby increasing their profit margin. Just another big box store game at the consumers expense. Thanks Costco for thinking about the shareholders first, and the paying members second.Same old, same old.
