Thanksgiving Recipes - Maple Glazed Ham

Honey baked ham gets a maple makeover when basted with a maple syrup and Dijon mustard mixture.

Maple-Glazed Ham
Provided by Campbell's Kitchen

1/4 cup pure maple syrup
2 tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
6-to 9-lb. fully cooked bone-in spiral ham
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 3/4 cups Swanson Chicken Broth (regular, Natural Goodness or Certified Organic)
1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves , crushed
1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp. butter or 1 tbsp. margarine
1/4 cup chopped shallot

Mix 2 tbsp. syrup and 1 tbsp. mustard.

Place ham in roasting pan and cover loosely with foil. Bake at 325°F. for 1 hr. 30 min. Uncover and bake 30 min. more, brushing with syrup mixture or until meat thermometer reads 140°F.

Mix cornstarch, broth, thyme, black pepper, remaining syrup and remaining mustard until smooth. Set aside.

Heat butter in small saucepan over medium heat. Add shallots and cook until tender. Stir cornstarch mixture and add. Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Serve sauce with ham.
