I love Ginger and will happily drink ginger ale and ginger tea (there is also a wonderful (strong) Chinese drink called 'ginger honey crystals' that you can enjoy hot or cold, I always have some in the house). However, fresh ginger is also a stimulant and a fairly strong blood thinner. Too much is not a good thing.

Also, some juicers don't require the ginger to be peeled. Mine, a basic informercial type, can even take the pineapple rine.
