No Americans will work for the wages producers are giving. This is why immigrants are hired.

And, not all the blame lies with them; THE AMERICAN PEOPLE OVEREAT and will buy cheap ground "meat". As a child, we had meat once a week and WERE VERY HEALTHY CHILDREN. Americans need to demand quality!!!!!!

There are plenty that are just not being enforced. Morons think that you can pass a law and presto everything is solved. As an example we have immigration laws in place. So why are there illegal immigrants? The obvious answer is you have to enforce the laws you have. If the laws were enforced we would not have any of these recalls.
Secondly, this meat was produced in September. Most of it is consumed by now. This smacks more of government agitation to produce more laws which won't be enforced except to drive out competition.
Welcome to the new world order!

The ground meat I buy at Morton Williams always looks rosy flesh fresh red on the outside but when I open the package and dig into the meat, the unseen section looks rotten and aged. Make no mistake about it, corporate America will sell you anything that makes them a profit. Your health-or getting value is their last consideration. Doesn't matter who you vote for-its a no win situation-They are the power brokers. They buy and sell our elected officials by the dozen. Corruption fueld by greed is our everyday brand of capitalism. I know no other form of governmemt that is better.
Best advise-be vigilant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It aint gonna change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that darker color is perfectly natural. the bright rosy red you think is better is actually a reaction to oxygen. a well sealed package of meat will look darker in color. have you never seen a properly aged steak before?
love it when people jump right in with their scientific conclusions they know nothing about- like the video of the idiot woman with the "rainbows in her sprinkler" who was convinced this natural process of light refraction was a sure sign of government tampering with her water!
+1000000 to the guy talking about the cheap laborers/illegal labor brought in.
I'm also on board the idea that animal rights fanatics tamper with the product to scare consumers away from meat. funny how they didn't release their videos of their 'undercover' employee in the CA processing facility until four months after that meat went out to the public.

They always use their outdated or close to spoiled products to save on waste and throw aways. Most stores will flvor with lemon or bar b que products to coer up spoiled taste. Flavored whole chickens should be avoided at all costs.

Claims that local and so called natural and organic is better is stupid, in fact, those are the highest risk, no way can they have the sanitation monitoring and facilities that the large companies have. The idea that the socialists have (fascist and communist versions) is that capitalists are out to kill their customers, so idiotic they should be deported to Cuba.
