Using Up Radishes - Tip of the Day

You bought a bunch of radishes. You made a salad. What next?

Salad fiends and radish fans might know the ins and outs of the little red spheres, but for the rest of us, trying to use up a whole slew of radishes is quite a challenge. Well, it can be -- until you discover just how many ways the vegetable can be prepared.

Beyond that boring old tossed salad, radishes can be a tasty topping to risotto. Team them up with smoked salmon for a delicious dip, make a quick jar of pickles or add flavor to a slaw. (Sure, that last one's a salad, but a slaw is so much different than the tossed variety.)
