Play It Safe - Tip of the Day

An instant flare-up on the grill leaving you wondering what to do about that scorching steak?

A tip from Slashfood's summer grilling blogger, Gena Knox:

Play it safe even if you are an expert.

Leave a small portion of the grill unheated, so you have a place to move any food that may be cooking too fast or may flare up unexpectedly. It will save you time and save that steak!
