Brush the Grill - Tip of the Day

Caked-on grime and nastiness ruining your outdoor 'cue?

A tip from Slashfood's summer grilling blogger Gena Knox:

Brushing the grates with a wire brush after preheating helps remove any residue.

If you don't have a brush, then simply use a ball of aluminum foil and long-handled tongs to scrape off that black grime. Heating up the grill first makes for easy removal. And don't forget to oil those clean grates!
