Jennifer Aniston: Restaurateur?

The secret ingredient to Jennifer Aniston's success might be in her kitchen.

In the September issue of "O, The Oprah Magazine," Aniston says that her friends, celebrity and non-celebrity alike, love the food served in her Los Angeles home.

"It's the best restaurant in town," claims Aniston.

The actress can be seen in culinary action most nights of the week alongside her personal chefs, sisters Jewels and Jill Elmore.

"She makes a place where people want to come and hang out," jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer told People magazine about Aniston's dinner parties.

Taking the rave reviews to heart, the sitcom-turned-movie star is now considering opening up the reservation book to everyone.

According to Grub Street Los Angeles, the 40-year-old starlet is reportedly chewing on the idea of opening up her very own eatery.

So, Slashfood wants to know if you'd give Chef Aniston a shot.

Would you eat at Jennifer Aniston's restaurant?
Yes -- Chef Aniston has a nice ring to it.8868 (67.2%)
No -- she needs to stick to acting.818 (6.2%)
Maybe -- I'd have to see the menu first.3507 (26.6%)

I will say this, if I ever become famous, I am gonna hire her publicity staff. It is obvious that they sure know how to promote talentless people; and, make them into something, that they are not.

Jennifer - you continue to shoot for the stars & open that restaurant of yours. Knowing you, as I perceive you to be, it'll be successful! You seem to be a very "real" and down to earth woman who I would love the opportunity to just meet (low key, no press, just "be") and get to chattin' with you woman to woman as a friend. I bet you're a great & treasured friend. I say go for it & truly wish you all the very, very best.

Even tabloid rumors and gossip are publicity. She is one of those that keep the gossip mongerers happy. Maybe if she had her name in Neon, we wouldn't have to suffer through her "lovers" and breakups. Lets see some of that so called talent instead of tasting her food.

if that will be on her short list menu and from reading about the good vibe dinner parties at home, why not take it a step further and open a modest restaurant and see where it goes from there. It's sad to read all the negatives here but it shouldn't stop her from opening a personal stamp of approval
business and besides with everything she been through, this is something she could positively
expand on.

When I see the likes of some of the guys she's been "tight" with over the past few years(Mayer, Vaughn), I can't help but believe that she must be scaring them away by carrying some very heavy baggage.
