Nested Bowls Keep It Cold - Tip of the Day

Sick of your dips and salads getting warm too quickly? Nested bowls are an easy solution.

Those special dip chillers sure come in handy, but unless you entertain a lot, chances are they gather dust most of the year. To save space, and abide by the more than one use rule, pick up a set of nested bowls. Whether you're serving a large salad or a small dish of tzatziki, they're all you'll need. Put a little ice (or better yet, flat ice packs!) in a larger bowl, and then place the next size smaller inside. Voila, your food stays chilled. Best of all, they can be used for many things -- mixing, mise en place, popcorn, salads, you name it!
