Fancy Food Show Favorites - Day Three

Mo's Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix. Photo: Vosges

Day three of the Fancy Food Show was just as big and bold as Sunday and Monday, with some extra swag to take home. Even after spending three days there, we still feel like we missed a bunch of things.

As Slashfood staffers strolled the aisles on Tueday afternoon, we discovered Key Lime Graham Cracker Gelato, stuffed our faces full of Lobster Mac and Cheese and topped our day off with cultured butter with sea salt crystals.

After the jump, learn about some of our favorites from Tuesday's walk through the show.

Cypress Grove Chevre Truffle Tremor and Purple Haze
While it isn't news that Slashfood loves everything that comes out of Cypress Grove, they continue to stop us in our tracks with their Sofi award-winner Truffle Tremor, where earthy truffles meet classic goat cheese. Purple Haze, what can we say? We can't get enough of you.

Chuao Panko Dark Chocolate Bar
Inspired by a chocolate panini, the executive chef at Chuao decided to combine their luxurious dark chocolate with panko crumbs to create a one-of-a-kind product that's thoroughly addictive.

Beehive Cheese Company Barely Buzzed Flavored American Cheese
A cheese that will make your mouth go "wow", the rind is coated in a grind of espresso beans from South America, Central America, and Indonesia. Pairs perfectly with wine and even better with coffee!

Dufflet Bittersweet Chocolate Crackle and Maple Cashew
Don't get us wrong, we love the Almond and Pistachio Crackle that won the Sofi, but our hearts fell in love the minute the maple cashews broke through the deep, dark chocolate and melted in our mouths.

Vosges Mo's Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix
Vosges' famous bacon, sea salt and chocolate candy bars are crushed into pieces and mixed in with this fluffy pancake mix for the ultimate breakfast -- heck, anytime meal.

Annette's Chocolate Factory Triple Nut Kentucky Bourbon Brittle
Three sensational words: Kentucky, Bourbon, and Brittle had us a little more than eager to run over to their booth and get our hands on what we think is one of the shows best products of the year.

Fermin
Iberico Ham
One single mouthful of this whisper-cut ham made us into better humans. It's creamy, sweet, earthy and salty, all in equal measure. This little piggy brought joy.

Alexian Duck Rillette
Our knees actually buckled upon sampling this rich, liver-free blend of shredded duck and gentle spices. Even minutes later, the flavor just kept on quacking.

Hancock Gourmet Lobster Mac & Cheese
It's savagely sharp, sumptuously creamy, blanketed with the most satisfying layer of crunchy bread crumbs
and not even a bit stingy with the lobster. This radical mac has us seriously rethinking our geographical priorities. We'll move to Maine if it means more of this. Ayuh.

Saucy Mama Smoky Garlic Mustard
We've eaten a LOT of mustard in our day
and can state with great authority that this low, slow, smoky blend stands up to the best of the bunch. Sample it on pretzels if you must, but a spoon will do.
