As we've mentioned before, freezing tea, coffee or other beverages into cubes will allow you to chill your drinks without suffering the watered down consequences. But if you take it one simple step further, you'll have delicious and fruity cubes to keep you cool all summer long.
Rather than chopping chunks of lemon or lime for your cola or tonic, freeze them into cubes with a little extra juice mixed in with the water. Or take a cue from Martha Stewart and use a muffin pan to make larger, circular cubes that perfectly house a full slice. Throw some lemon cubes into lemonade or some fruit cubes and juice into your next sangria; whatever you do, have fun experimenting. A little fruity ice goes a long way towards beating the heat.
