5-28-2009 @9:14PM bugga said... The one item I'd utterly disagree with is the All-Clad nonstick 10" fry pan. Nonstick surfaces wear out. I don't care how careful you are with them, they get nasty after a while, and to spend that kind of money (someone else's or your own) on a pan you'll have to replace in the not too distant (a few years) future seems pointless.

I like to have one each of the 8", 10", and 12" nonstick fry pans.

All my other pans I fully expect to outlast me, but nonstick pans have to be thought of as somewhat disposable.

5-29-2009 @11:06AM Courtney said... Rather than a punchbowl, I would suggest an apothecary jar with a spigot. You can find them on Amazon, Crate and Barrel, etc. They are gorgeous and not as susceptible to bugs and other germs like punch bowls! I am registered for one myself. :)

It makes incredible popcorn that you can dress up easily with butter and spices, or you can just cook the corn in a little pre-salted olive oil and have a pretty healthy snack. We got lots of fantastic things for our wedding, but my husband and I always come back to this as one of our very favorites.

5-29-2009 @2:48PM Sally said... After reading the reviews of the All Clad Slow Cooker, I think I'd get a Rival from Wal Mart or Target. I've had mine for years without any kind of problems -- at a fraction of the cost.
