Leeks are delicious, but just how do you clean them?

Leeks are gorgeous, but hidden away in those tasty stalks is dirt and other rather unsavory things. Rather than avoiding the veggies and leading a sad, leek-free existence, watch the above video where Gourmet's Ruth Cousineau outlines just how to prepare them for your dishes. She explains two rather handy methods, covering both chopped leek preparation and how to handle a recipe that asks for a whole leek.
