Seriously, people. Coffee iced cubes. If you're anything like us, you think of this with extraordinary consistency after you've chilled or cold-brewed your coffee, and man, is that annoying. It is difficult to flash-freeze a liquid through the power of intense concentration.
So even though Slashfoodies nationally are still on the fence about whether or not it's iced coffee weather, it's time to get ready. Step away from the computer (no, really, it's cool) and -- if you're at home, as opposed to in the office, because we don't want to get you in trouble for making iced coffee cubes out of your boss's Diet Coke cube stash -- go make some coffee cubes. Steps:
* Remove specified tray from freezer.
* Carefully fill with cooled coffee.
* Replace in freezer.
Label this sucker with tape if you must, because we can't imagine how mom would feel if she popped a coffee-tinged cube in her Chardonnay at a later date.
