Took me a minute to parse that--here in Texas, pecan is pronounced differently (obligatory state pride moment: "correctly!"), so it doesn't nearly rhyme with the slogan; must've been one of those Beltway insiders came up with it.

Well, Ben and Jerry's, I have bought my last bite of your product. I hope that others will boycott it also. But, you and your company have shown that they are 'leaning left' by your actions. Perhaps you will now start to learn your lesson, when you are driving in a storm, you keep to the center of the road. Today's political and financial situation is like being in a storm and what you are seeing now is just the prelude. Wait until the serious winds blow, and then, hold on. But, as with all things bad, given time, they to will pass.

Someone (DSF) already told you that in the South Central U.S. of A, the words "Yes Pecan" do not sound like "yes we can" might sound more like "Yes Be Gone.
I will wait till the name of my favorite Ice Cream changes back to what it really is, so my purchasing it will not contribute to the Downfall of life as we know it. Come to think of it, there are other brands of Butter Pecan Ice Cream. I hate it when people that I like try to use their celebrity status to promote political ideas and candidates.

Am I the only one who was raised with this saying? "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." It amazes me how some people show so much anger and hate. I guess that is easy to do when you are anonymous. God bless these people who do that because they sure need it.
