Make Food Your Centerpiece - Tip of the Day

Flowers are pretty and candles are chic, but foodies know that the most fun centerpieces are made of more food! Check out these ideas for making beautiful food centerpieces for your Thanksgiving table.

1. A bread cornucopia from HGTV. This video (it's the fourth one) makes the process look super easy, and the final product is so impressive!

2. A fruit topiary from Better Homes and Gardens. This is so beautiful, and any number of fruits will work.

3. Use a pumpkin as a vase. I don't know if we can technically consider the pumpkin food unless it's cooked, but this is simple and classic anyway.

4. Fill glass vases with colorful autumn beans or nuts, as suggested here by Epicurious.

5. Create a cranberry float by filling a large glass bowl (or several small ones) with water, and adding cranberries and floating candles if you like.
