Make Weekend Breakfasts Easier - Tip of the Day

By the time you lug yourself out of bed at 11 a.m. on a Sunday, do you really want to spend another 30 minutes prepping brunch before you start cooking? Try using make-ahead brunch recipes for an even more relaxing weekend morning.
baked french toast, the night before
Baked French toast is a great item to prepare in the evening, and pop into the oven the morning. Try this boozy baked french toast recipe from Smitten Kitchen or this raspberry lemon baked french toast from Eggs on Sunday.

I'm a huge muffin person, so I love the idea of waking up to fresh muffins without having to do any work in the morning! Here's a recipe for amazing overnight oatmeal muffins from Whipped (okay, I admit, this one requires some morning work -- but you could measure out the ingredients in advance) and one for overnight bran muffins from My Recipes (you can store them in the fridge up to three days!).

And as if you weren't already salivating, this Chef Mom site has recipes for make-ahead savory bread pudding and waffles!

Have a favorite brunch dish to prepare ahead? As always, please share!
