There are very few foods or drinks I recommend in powder form. Powder is not food-like. It is rarely satisfying.I recently stumbled upon an exception to this rule: powdered green tea.
The green tea I normally use tends to be full leaves, dried and sealed. What's the harm in crushing the leaves into powder?
Nothing. The surface area created by grinding a dry tea leaf makes it "steep" in three seconds. No pot, no brewing.
Visit groundgreentea.com for Sei Mee Japanese Sencha that mixes even with cold water. The taste (and the tea) is totally authentic and quite delicious!
You can also mix the powder in with a shake or smoothie for a flavor and antioxidant boost. Try it!
