Many interesting recipes with fresh apples.

There was an old fashion Italian pizza recipe with slices of fresh apples I saw in one of my old cookbook collections. Of course, the recipe was not vegetarian because it had slices of meat/sausages.

But, I thought it was an interesting classic approach to cooking with apples.

I think the recipe was from the Alto Adige region of Italy.
