Tip of the Day: Juicier fruit

Ever struggle trying to get juice from a lemon or lime? Here's a tip to make those juices flow!

Juicy!Sometimes, trying to squeeze a lemon is like trying to get blood from a stone. The truth is, most squeezable fruits vary in their juiciness, and even the savviest lemon-chooser isn't always right.

An easy way to make a fruit a little bit juicier? Pop it in the microwave. Seriously! Microwaves work by causing molecules to move, creating heat and expansion. All those things make your lemon (or grapefruit, or orange, etc.) slice up a bit easier and taste even more luscious.

You could pop fruit in a real oven, too, but that's going to take a bit longer. About 15 seconds does the job in the microwave!
