10-13-2008 @10:33AM Pyrofish said... I just read Michael Pollan's letter to the future president. At 9 pages, it no short piece, but it is informative. Not much that isn't in his books, except for his government food plan. Which looks pretty interesting, and well thought out. I don't like all of his government involvement in the food process, but it's there now, so what's the dif right?
It still boggles my mind that farmers have basically turned their fields into a job that barely supports them. I think I would have gone back to growing my own food, and corn and say be damned!
