She wasn't eating a meal, she was inhaling a meal. Nobody could miss that in any kind of food. I am sure that there is an attorney standing by for the big payout. I wonder what she has planned next.

Yummy!! Lots of iron in her diet. Seriously though, I found a nail in an omelet before I bit into it. I was lucky to find it first. Oh well.

"before she could prevent it?" I ain't biting on this one......I've bitten on several "objects" in my food before (small pieces of bone, etc), and never once, have i ever continued to swallow the object.....this woman's just looking for a payday IMO.

This isn't the first case and most likely won't be the last. Unfortunately, it took a woman to be hospitalized to find the nail in her stomach. Where are the competent, Supervisors, employees, and inspectors? Sadly, every company has workers that pass the buck, have no allegience to their company, nor pride in the worksmanship. Who is inspecting the machines that the foods pass through, the belts they flow on, and the ramps that load them into cartons that are loaded into the trucks and the deliveries to the prespective stores, etc? Heard of bolts in frozen foods, glass I have seen, finger nails, hair, worms/maggots, razors, straight pins, etc. Yet, for years, no one is being held accountable for inept inspections. Companies need to be evaluated, workers need employee reviews, health exams a must, higher standards do need to be in place and a written agreement signed by employer/employee to the rules and regulations in a company, if not compliant to the them, the employee is warned, and if this behavior persists, they're let go.

One look at her and you can see there was a lot less chewing and a lot more swallowing going on. She had to be woofing down that Mac and C to miss a 2" nail. Best thing about this story is that she will likely lose weight from the incident. Think salad next time honey.

wow, its amazing that these kinda of stories are still happing.... what in the hell, these company's that make these mac and cheese , or any other that are out there . that found them self with almost the same problem are still in bussiness...... hello !!!!!
if you have a food bussiness you need to be aware of what is going in your factories..... you need to move you butts and check on your employess ... and see what they are doing ..... you could lose your money making bussniess .... its that simple ......
