The Cook Hook is a little gadget that lets you hang your towel anywhere you could put a portable hook. The hook works with magnets - simply stick the towel between the two magnets and then pull it out when you need it.
I keep my towel draped over the stove bar. The hook in this picture is really cute, but I do have to wonder why they don't just throw the towel right over the bar directly.
On the Fusion Brands site (where they sell the Cook Hook), there is also a picture of a guy with the hook in his belt loop. It might be convenient to have a towel right on me while cooking.
Where do you keep your kitchen towel?

throw one over your shoulder and keep it there, its a great way to have a towel ready to use but it doesn't get in your way

I think this would work out great for those of us with small kids who LOVE to take off with the kitchen towel. Stick this to the side or front of the fridge waaaay up high, so the towel will be out of reach while it dries.

I keep my dish towels on the oven door handle and a hand towel on the fridge door handle. But I can see how this little thing is handy as my dish towels easily slide off the bar whenever I open the oven or brush against it.

I keep one threaded through a drawer handle next to the sink. Using the oven handle means you have to find another place for the towel if you're opening the oven door. I can see this as handy for holding a small side towel from a belt loop, though.

I keep one on the oven bar, but it does get in the way. I usually wear an apron while cooking, because I do a lot of sauteeing and have stained some of my clothes; when I remember, I hang a towel over the apron "belt," which ties in the front. That's very handy.
