Today Show no-no
Our pals at Epicurious's Epi-Log pointed us to this lusciously awkward Today Show cooking segment wherein Sam the Cooking Guy shuts Kathie Lee's cakehole not so much with cake, as with a heaping helping of STFU. It's no doubt soured his relationship with the show, but makes for some mighty sweet TV.

Good for him. I would have done the same thing with how chatty those two get on the Today show. Let the guy do his segment than respectfully interject when you get an opening.

The ladies got what they deserved. now we'll see if management supports the cooking guy's demand to just do what he's hired for. After all, if they keep interrupting, he is not going to be able to communicate the segment he was hired for. The girls are so used to making happy talk that do not know how to STFU.
5Heh... You act like America cares about the segment. They don't. American women (those who are staying at home and watching this segment) don't care what he's talking about, just like they don't understand how Elisabeth is a total waste of space on "The View". That's why these total 'bitch-boxes' are still on TV. Sam is gone, sorry he crossed the retard class.

Too funny. And really appropriate. Show a little respect to the poor guy who's only got a minute to get his stuff done by just keeping your trap closed. I'd probably do the same thing, and then later say "oops!" I think the today show should show a little backbone and keep him as a guest. Maybe the girls will learn to behave a little better next time! Also loved the clip about the nice melons!

That was as good as when Itzhak Pearlman put that pompus ass, Jeff Smith in his place on his pathetic show.
Or when Lidia Bastianich corrected Martha Stewart when whe tried to crack an egg on the side of the bowel (forcing egg shell bits up into the egg) instead of the correct way - on a flat surface. And we all know how much the self-appointed-authority-on-all-things-Martha liked that! If looks could kill...

No matter what show Kathy Lee is on, she's rude. On "Family Feud" she was embarrassing -- especially to her own family! How she gets these jobs is a mystery to me -- she certainly doen't help the ratings!
11I'm so tired of Kathie Lee!! This is exactly why I don't watch these morning shows. We receive 10 minutes of news, mind you its just the headlines and not the whole story, then its listen to Chatty Kathies talk about nothing! yap yap yap Also who cares about Kathie Lee's family? Just let me borrow your husband for a few days, that man is still sexy as hell, btw, I'm in my mid-thirties, I'll wear that man out!
17It is just sad to see and hear Kathie Lee these days. She is obnoxious and inappropriate at every turn. I lik(ed) Hoda until she got hooked up with Kathie Lee. Enough of this hour long "show." Either can it, or send Kathie Lee over to those pathetic excuses for modern women on "The View."
