Our pals at Epicurious's Epi-Log pointed us to this lusciously awkward Today Show cooking segment wherein Sam the Cooking Guy shuts Kathie Lee's cakehole not so much with cake, as with a heaping helping of STFU. It's no doubt soured his relationship with the show, but makes for some mighty sweet TV.

After all, if they keep interrupting, he is not going to be able to communicate the segment he was hired for. The girls are so used to making happy talk that do not know how to STFU.

I'd probably do the same thing, and then later say "oops!" I think the today show should show a little backbone and keep him as a guest. Maybe the girls will learn to behave a little better next time! Also loved the clip about the nice melons!
