I love making iced tea using this method. I usually boil the simple syrup, and let a few teabags steep for a few minutes. My favorite kind is a black tea and spearmint tea mix. Then I pour it into a pitcher full of ice and voila! Delicious and refreshing mint iced tea.

@SaraFist: Certainly healthy as far as beverages go. There is a whole lot of crap out there.
Judging just from Brandice's description, this sounds similar to Coca-Cola's Enviga product (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enviga). Lawsuits against the health claims aside, I really like drinking it. It's difficult to chug or drink a lot of at once, but it tastes good -- a huge plus for me, a big guy trying to slim down by cutting things like HFCS out of his diet!
