Excuse the standup comedian tone, but what's the deal with all these "anti-energy" drinks? First I posted about Drank, and now comes VIB - short for Vacation in a Bottle.
The web site says that you you will "experience the tender Polynesian breezes and the serene harmony of rolling waves with a vacation in a bottle." VIB has no caffeine, no alcohol, and is high in anti-oxidants while low in carbs and calories. Sounds like the perfect drink, if the taste is there. But that sounds good too: it's pomegranate berry, slightly carbonated.
I don't know if the company's idea of a vacation (sitting on a beach towel chillin') is my idea of a perfect vacation, but I'll give this a shot. Jessica Simpson drinks it! And Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bobby Carpenter says that even though it's for relaxation, "It'll still keep you in a state of mind where you're going to be able to execute your office duties." While I ponder what type of office duties Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bobby Carpenter has, I'm going to check this out.
Has anyone gotten a chance to try this drink? Did you feel instantly more relaxed?

Actually, that sounds vague. What kind of berry? This sounds like crap.

There is a Chinese saying to the effect that if you eat a handful of these every day you will have a smile on your face. In my experience this is true; when my wife was clinically depressed they seemed to help.
I have seen them for 24.00 a pound at health food stored but you can get them at a Chinese herb shop for six bucks here in New Haven. That's about a months worth at a handfull a day, and they taste pretty nice, much better than the goji juice I've been given, which tastes like medicine.
