Cooking hot dogs on the grill today? Don't grab them with a fork to turn them over.
I always pierce hot dogs when I cook them in the microwave or on a grill. It's something I've always done since I was a kid, thinking that opening a hole in the hot dogs will make them cook faster or more thorough. But you actually don't have to pierce the hot dogs with a fork. Use tongs instead! In fact, you should use tongs a lot anyway, to turn food. It's like having another hand.
While we're at it, don't go overboard pressing those burgers down on the grill either. The juices will escape and you don't want that.
