Maybe I'm just a product of my generation, but there's no doubt in my mind that things are safer when stored on the computer. There are tons of ways to keep files of your recipes on your computer or on the internet, so feel free to share your own methods for keeping organized!1) Make a folder of PDFs. Every time I see a recipe that I like on the internet, I save it as a PDF (go to print, then print as a PDF) in a folder called "Recipes" on my desktop. All I have to do is open the folder, and all the recipes I've saved are right there.
2) Use AOL to make an online cookbook. By visiting , you can see examples of other people's cookbooks, and create your own by entering your favorite recipes. Make them available to everyone, or keep them to yourself.
3) Use recipe boxes on sites like Epicurious or All Recipes. If you have a go-to site for recipes, utilize tools that allow you to create an online "box" of your favorite recipes, and to share them with other users.
4) If these seem like too much, just write your recipes into a program like Excel, or into a word processing program to keep them organized. Or you can print recipes and keep them in a large binder, like I do for backup.

I just found this last night when looking for a solution http://www.slashfood.com/2006/09/03/how-to-store-and-organize-your-recipes-in-gmail/# What I like most about this solution is that since my Gmail is accessible from my Blackberry I will have access to recipes whenever I need them whether that be in the store when I'm picking up the ingredients or in the kitchen where I will need the recipe most.
