I'd heard the rumors that bacon and chocolate where getting together. But now we have gorgeous, photographic post that the rumors are true. And really, how could something that looks so, so right be wrong? Have any of you tried this devilish combination? I admit that I haven't had a chance to check it out yet (although I have gotten to try both bacon vodka and a particularly good Blood Mary made with the stuff).

I love bacon and chocolate. So I made some of this last week as well, although I opted for bittersweet chocolate (since I'd already done the milk-chocolate-based Vosges bar). I also made some bacon ice cream to go with it:

If drinking chocolate milk is considered unhealthy (http://www.milkprocon.org/questions/flavored.htm), then eating chocolate bacon has got to be downright foolish. No thank you. Two yummy flavors don't always go together. What next butterscotch steak?

I bought a Vosges Mo's Bacon Bar recently to try. (http://www.vosgeschocolate.com/product/bacon_exotic_candy_bar/exotic_candy_bars) Of the four of us who tried it, two liked it, two didn't. It has a different but interesting taste. The whole sweet/salty blend is unique.

There is a bakery located in Portland that sells Maple glazed donuts with a bacon strip attached to it. As a vegetarian, I wouldn't taste this, however; I have a friend who has and said it was amazing.
