If your family likes seasoning salt, that's one thing that can go: you can make your own. A lot of people already have the ingredients, here's how you put them together.2 Tablespoons of salt,
2 teaspoons of sugar,
1/2 teaspoon of paprika,
1/4 teaspoon of turmeric,
1/4 teaspoon of onion powder,
1/4 teaspoon of granulated garlic.
Mix everything up well and store in an airtight container. This is a small batch, but you can multiply it up as needed. If you don't have an ingredient, maybe a premixed seasoning salt is a viable option. If you do have everything, though, why spend the extra cash?
