Tip of the Day: How to reheat leftover pizza

Do you have leftover pizza this morning? Don't reheat it in the microwave!

pizzaI have to admit that when it comes to reheating pizza, I'm a microwave guy. Sure, once in a while I'll wrap it in foil and put it in the oven, but if it's late at night I just want it quick so I zap it for 15-20 seconds. I never thought of cooking on top of the stove before.

This page at Ezine Articles says to put the slice(s) of pizza in a skillet! Make sure you spray the skillet with non-stick spray (or use Teflon). Turn the burner to medium-low heat and cover. Cook thick pizza for about 15 minutes or thin pizza for around 10. As the article says, keep checking it to make sure it doesn't burn (15 minutes seems like a long time to me).

This sounds like it could be a nice change of pace from microwaved or even oven-cooked leftover pizza. I happen to have some leftover pizza and I'm going to try it.
