No, it's not a new rap artist or the name of an old Burt Reynolds TV show*. It's a recipe from Shirley over at Mom's Best Recipes.
You don't get many recipes that include pasta, bacon, cream cheese, and Italian dressing, so this sounds intriguing. Basically any excuse to eat bacon and cream cheese I guess, though part of me thinks that the combo of bacon and cream cheese (plus Parmesan cheese!) could be a little overwhelming. It could be one of those situations where you love all of the ingredients individually but might not like them all together. But I'm going to give this one a shot this weekend.
BLT Pasta
3 cups uncooked penne pasta
4oz. Philadelphia cream cheese (1/2 of an 8oz. package)--cubed
1 cup milk
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
2 cups baby spinach leaves
1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
Cook pasta according to box directions. In a skillet over medium heat add cream cheese cubes, milk and Parmesan cheese--stir and cook until cream cheese is melted. Add crumbled bacon, and Italian seasoning--stir. Drain pasta and plate. Remove skillet from stove and add spinach leaves and cherry tomatoes to the sauce--stir. Pour sauce over pasta.
* That would be BL Stryker. I know, I know, a lame, obscure joke.

Mmm...sounds like a different, richer take on spaghetti alla carbonara.
