We conclude this particular numbered cocktails theme week with the One-Armed Bandit.
I'm more of a red wine guy than a white wine guy (much more, actually), but this drink has so many other ingredients in it that I love that I'm going to try it tonight. It's white wine with Cointreau, grenadine, oranges, lemon, and lime. Cocktail.com doesn't say who created the drink, but does say that it was "discovered in Vegas." That's good enough for me.
One-Armed Bandit
750 ml dry white wine
6 oz Cointreau
2 oranges
1/2 lime
1/2 lemon
4-5 dashes grenadine
In a large pitcher combine 750 ml dry white wine with 6 ounces Cointreau. Squeeze juice of 2 oranges, 1/2 lime and 1/2 lemon. Add 4 or 5 dashes grenadine for color. Garnish with maraschino cherries and sliced citrus. Serve in Tom Collins glasses filled with ice. (Makes 6 to 8 servings.)

Basically that drink is a version of the old classic, White Sangria.

That's how I make white sangria. Minus the grenandine, plus alot more fruit and some powdered sugar. It has more of a kick than regular sangria with the orange liquer in it but goes down easy.
