Want to lose weight but you find yourself snacking all day long? Here are two tips that might help.
I love chocolate and other snacks, and I find myself eating a lot of the stuff all day long. And when you snack 50 times a day (a handful of nuts here, a piece of chocolate there), you don't really notice and the calories/fat can really add up. But you can use some tips and tricks to help. I can't remember where I first heard these tips, probably in a magazine like Men's Heath or a diet book.
If you like chocolate, instead of eating 20 little chocolates (so tempting, so lethal), keep one in your mouth and suck on it for a while. This will satisfy your chocolate craving for a while. It's even better if you put the chocolate in the fridge. It will last longer.
Speaking of getting snacks cold, have you thought about putting seedless grapes in the freezer? They actually become tasty, sweet treats that you can pop in your mouth. Certainly better than having candy bars or a bowl of chips or peanuts.
Thrifty Fun has some tips for freezing grapes.
