Tired of seeing the bottoms of your copper pans looking all black and discolored? Here's how to clean them.
I don't have copper cookware, but I heard this tip and I figured it was funky enough to pass on to Slashfood readers. If you have copper pans and the bottoms of the pans (the outside) get all discolored and black, you can use pickle juice to clean them! Just add the pickle juice to a large bucket or similar container that will be able to house the pan and let the pan soak for 20 minutes.
I'm not sure if the bottom of your pan will forever smell like pickle juice (and fill the room with pickle smell when you're cooking with it, heh), but this might be worth trying on one pan to see how it works.
