When Ruffles came out with its famous "RRRuffles Have Ridges" commercial, the three Rs (reading, writing, and arithmetic) were not nearly as important as the Rs of Ruffles. Rolling your tongue was suddenly the cool kid thing to do.
I tried, but no matter how many tips people gave me, I couldn't roll. I still can't!
I can't blame Ruffles for the lack of popularity I suffered back then (I wasn't popular to begin with), but I can thank them for salting the wound.
Ruffles' ridges are tasty, but can we maybe call them hills instead?
Did Ruffles inspire you to practice learning how to roll your Rs? Could you figure it out?

It's genetic. If you can't roll your Rs, no amount of trying will make you learn.

I haven't tried all the chips in your Top 20, but I am sure the none of them can compare to a brand that wasn't even mentioned- Cape Cod Chips. Specifically, their Robust Russet Chips- out of this world, the best chips I have ever tasted.

I learned to roll my rrrs in High School when the first line in my Spanish I textbook was "Arre, Burro", which means "giddup, donkey".

Well, you'd never get into Canada then. Tim Horton's has long run commercials during their Rrroll up the Rim to Win contests showing border guards catching sneaky Americans because they can't say it.

Trilling R's was a big deal for me as a kid, not only because of RRRuffles but you had to trill in order to speak Spanish. I wanted that 'A' so I paid close attention when we used to do this exercise in Spanish 1, "RRRapido Co-rrr-en los ca-rrr-os del fe-rrr-o ca-rrr-ill" and trilling soon became natural! Y'all oughta try it!

It is apparent they have never tasted the Dill Pickle chips made by Golden Flake out of Birmingham, Al. You can't eat just one for sure.

Wise regular chips are good and any one who has been to Pennsylvania knows of no better Middleworth chips are superior to all chips, BBQ, Sour Cream and Onion, or just plan regular

Try Jones Potato Chips from Mansfield, Ohio. When we lived in LA we use to take back cartons of them for all of our neighbors.
