Pie is probably one of America's favorite desserts. The question is what is America's favorite kind of pie?Michael Park over at Epicurious.com gives us some answers. He revealed a pie poll from the makers of Mrs. Smiths, Schwans Consumer Brands North America. The poll asked participants to name their three favorite pies. Which one came in first, you ask? Well, it was apple of course! Turns out it was the overwhelming favorite.
I was personally surprised that Key lime pie was at the bottom of the list. But I guess with so many kinds of pie out there, it's a measure of the popularity of key lime pie that it made the list at all. So how about it? What's your favorite kind of pie?

I visited your site today and think we both could really benefit from exchanging links to each other. We could either do a reciprocal link or a three way link trade which would be most beneficial to both of us as it is a one way link to each other. Our site is www.mustlovewine.com.
With the three way link trade we would add a blog post on www.food-and-beverage.net that linked to your main page and 2 sub pages via keyword. In return you would link back to MustLoveWine.com. The advantage to this is that you get 3 links back from food-and-beverage.net in return for linking to mustlovewine.com.
However, if you prefer we can do the reciprocal link instead.
If you are interested in swapping links please let us know the following:
For the three way linking please include the three keywords you want linked in the blog post and the URL to which they should point. If you prefer to write the blog post please feel free to do so and include it in your response.
For Reciprocal links please include the keyword, URL and a brief description if you would like one added under the link back to you.
Once we have received the information from you we will add the link(s) to our site and then email you back so that you can place the link back to www.mustlovewine.com.
Thanks for your time.

Pumpkin, lemon, key lime. Apple pie is fine, but it's not even in my top five.

For cream pies, it's a tie between coconut cream or banana cream (I'm partial to Marie Callendar's versions). For fruit, hot, it would be heated mixed berry pie alamode. For fruit, cold, it would be fresh glazed peach pie with unsweetened whipped cream.

Hmm, after living in NZ for a year, I have to say I love a nice mince pie or even a Butter Chicken (indian) Pie.

Blackberry
Gooseberry
Rhubarb
And apple is way down there, although I've had some good ones. Peach makes no sense at all; peaches are too good to can and put in pies.

Ann #13, I'm with you for COOKED peach pie, but try FRESH glazed peach pie. Like with a fresh strawberry pie, the freshly ripe peaches are cut into halves and lightly glazed (very lightly -- try to avoid too much goop, and served open in a baked crust, with whipped cream. That is a sublime summer treat, without ruining the peach.

I am a pie lover. I always like to cook pie by myself. Thanks to the cookbook "Pie", now with it I can cook many different pies. It features tried-and-true recipes for 300 delicious creations, all of them sweet, savory, and very highly recommended: http://dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=98476&ru=279
