Cereal mascot reunion

Cereal Reunion

I love this cereal mascot reunion image from SketchBlog!

Can you identify all the characters? I got 4 out of 5. Check out SketchBlog for the answers.

More importantly, what characters do you think should have been invited? I'm a fan of Snap, Crackle, and Pop. I think they would surely be more fun at the party than these guys. Also, where are the ladies?

If you'd like your own copy of this print, you can buy a 22" x 17" for $80 US (plus shipping) or a 17" x 11" for $50 US (plus shipping).

Perhaps I am completely over analyzing your remark, but my mind has to know.

You stated, “I got 4 out of 5”

Aside from making an ass out of myself, let’s assume that Tony the Tiger and Captain Crunch are fairly well known, a given, if you will. We can also assume that the Trix Rabbit is fairly well known as well. This bring us to three out of five, the average person would recognize.

That leaves us with Count Chocula and Frankenberry.

What I can’t figure out is how someone could know one of these and not the other, I mean, they are the same “brand”, after all. How does one recall one, but not the other?

As I mentioned before, this all has to do with me assuming, so perhaps this is not the case at all, and you happen to know the two monster cereal characters and not one of the “more well known” mascots.

So out of curiosity, which four did you recognize?
