Tip of the Day: Keep Alka Seltzer with your cleaning supplies

Take a look at all the things that Alka Seltzer can help with around the house!

I had heard of using Alka Seltzer as a cleaning agent before, but I have only recently found resources that explain exactly how you do it. To be honest, I never looked. I simply used actual cleaning supplies, and I have never kept the heart burn reliever on hand.

After reading about all the things that Alka Seltzer do, though, I may have to rethink that. You can clean toilets, jewelry, and vases or cruets; unclog drains; soothe insect bites; and temporarily reduce nicotine withdrawals. Check out this and this for more information. If you keep Alka Seltzer on hand, you might just move it over to the cleaning cabinet. If you don't keep it in the house, you might want to grab a box next time you're at the store. I know I will.

My tip: Buy meat in bulk have it cut and packaged to your needs and freeze it. One can save as much as one dollar or more a LB. This will save enought money to pay for a freezer.
