Have you ever made a nice batch of soft cookies and then they get hard? Here's how to keep them soft.

If you make soft cookies and want to keep them from getting all hard and crispy, use a slice of bread. Place the cookies in an airtight container and put a slice of bread in there with them. It's best to wrap the bread in a layer of wax paper or maybe a paper towel. Your cookies will stay softer longer!
