oatmeal cookies

This is very strange timing, since I spent the entire weekend craving oatmeal cookies for some reason. I consider this, plus the fact that today is Oatmeal Cookie Day a sign from the Gods that I need to go out and get oatmeal cookies.

Here's a recipe from Epicurious, and here's one from JoyOfBaking.com. Or how about a little twist on the traditional cookie, with this recipe for Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies and this one for Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.

And don't forget my twist, these Black & White Oatmeal Cookies from December's Cookie-A-Day extravaganza.

Hi Bob, here is my contribution for your oatmeal cookie day post. The irony here is this is the exact same post that you did a post on awhile back. If the Post Police rear their ugly heads we'll just give them an oatmeal cookie and send them on their way lol!
