'Biscuit' refers to what we'd call cookies AND what we'd call crackers here, depending on if it's sweet or savory. The 'crystallized sugar' in your paraphrase makes it sound like this was the cookie version. More on the biscuit/cookie thing ~ McVitties are certainly what we'd call a cookie. I can see how at first sight (in that photo, anyway) one would consider it a cracker, but it most certainly a proper cookie: heartier, but sweet, and certainly not savory. Some of them even have chocolate on the back. Yum! If you've never tried them, please consider it!

If I found a diamond in a cracker I was eating, I'd keep it, and do whatever I wanted with it. How is the company going to determine where that diamond came from?? I can't see a big corporation wasting alot of valuable resources to find the owner of the diamond. They are out to make money for their greedy selves, not, in the way a big corporation would look at it, as determining what negligent employee had such a cheap ring as to loose a diamond in cracker batter. Finally, I bought the crackers, I bought the diamond in the box. Therefore, the diamond has a new owner.

is no one else thinking about the fact that a diamond was found in the cracker? its kinda gross if you really think about it. it means either someone wasnt wearing gloves when they were made or was breaking the rules by wearing earings or even nastier a nose ring? really people lets think about how nasty and germy that diamond was and someone ate it, well ate what it was in. i would be a little worried about the product and their cleanliness after that one. i mean it came off some sort of jewerly piece, just take your pick as to which part of the body it was on to begin with.

I once found a screw in a Snickers bar that I bought from a vending machine in my office building. I was the last one there and since I was there alone, decided to indulge in my guilty pleasure of my favorite candy bar. So there were no witnesses. aargh. I called the company and turned the screw over to them. Of course, they said that there was no way the screw could have gotten into the Snickers bar. I didn't ask for any compensation although it could have been dangerous to whoever got the candy bar.

Keep the diamond. DON'T vote for Obama! Our country will really be in a mess then! These people always make promises, but they rarely ever make those promises happen. Hillary is really the only one running that has any white house experience. She was probably the one running our country when Bill was President because he was too busy being a jerk and having affair after affair! Not much of a man in my opinion because my now ex did the same thing to me!
