Tito's Vodka is 40% abv. / 80 proof and is made in Austin, Texas from 100% corn distilled six times in pot stills. The aroma is very light and clean with the barest hint of sweetness and corn. If I hadn't tried several corn vodkas and liquors recently I might not have been able to pick that up, but once I did it was recognizable and added greatly to the aroma. Balancing and smoothing out the light, clean scent. The taste is also very light and clean, almost all the flavor has been distilled out, maybe too much for my personal taste. What is left is clean and very smooth, with just a vague hint of sweetness and a very slight peppery finish. I like vodka's with a bit more flavor to them, but if you want a very nice, clean, light tasting, smooth vodka to have on the rocks, or in a highball or cocktail, then Tito's is for you. It's exceptionally well made and the low to mid price range makes it a good buy as well.

Tito's has been my fave since a couple of Texan pals brought a bottle to a party a few years back. It's utter madness that a vodka that good costs half of what so many lesser vodkas do. It also takes exceptionally well to infusions, as it's so clean and light.
And even better - it comes in a handle size, too.

Being from Texas, I discovered and have been enjoying Tito's for about 8 years now. For the price you can't beat it. We keep a 1.5 L around all the time. It is great as a vodka martini or with any mixer.

Tito's has been our first choice for a few years now. It's a little tougher to find here in Michigan, but we're spreading the word and a few local stores have started to carry it.

My father who is very picky about his vodka loves it. It is one of the few I can afford to give to a connoisseur as a student I also really enjoy it

Ooh, I've wanting to try this vodka ever since I saw it listed as one of 3Luxe's top picks - http://www.3luxe.com/best_ofs/Vodka/Tito's_Handmade_Vodka.
I hadn't thought of infusing it though, that is a great idea! And it is inexpensive enough to experiment with as well.
Anyone know where to find it in Chicago?

If you haven't tried Cold River from Maine, made with potatoes, then you've really been missing the best there is (IMO).

I just bought my first bottle this evening and have to say that I was shocked by the price and quality. It is amazing for the money and one of the best vodkas I have tried. In my opinion, it blows Grey Goose away.
