I had a roommate in college that for 4 years ate nothing but toast and french fries. He refused to eat any other kind of food. He would go through a 10 lb. bag of potatoes every week. And believe it or not he was skinny as could be.

One of my roommates in college only ate meat and potatoes. Seriously, any standard meat and potatoes cooked any way (cheese was the only accepted addition). Once in a while she would eat a can of spaghetti but only canned pasta. Nothing green (including lettuce, onions) or any form of vegetable other than potato. No fruit other than OJ.

According to her and her mom, she just didn't "like" anything else and that's all she ever would eat since small. That and gum, which she would swallow when finished.

I admit I used to wonder whether she used laxatives or what--it was that bad.

i also have a friend who only eats:

french fries
peanut butter and crackers
cheese pizza
dr pepper or gatorade or water
nachos chips

and that is it. he takes vitamin supplements for the missing nutrients, and says he has hated food since he was born. something about the consistency bothers him.

Is she morbidly obese? I find this so hard to believe that she didn't die after the first year from survey or malnutrition.

I have a really hard time believing anybody could eat ONLY french fries for ten years and not die of malnutrition. Wouldn't she get DISGUSTED with fries after eating nothing but them day after day, year after year? And what's wrong with her parents that they allowed their FIVE YEAR OLD to only eat fries for TEN YEARS?? Isn't that some kind of child abuse?

my 14 yr old daughter only eats macaroni,fries,chicken nuggets or rice. She refused to eat any real meat just processed junk chicken nuggets. It drives me crazy.

this chick must be the weirdest and most unhealthy person i've ever heard of, and believe me, i've met very weird people and some that eat so much crap food in a day they could start leaking that nasty grease that comes out of food from mcdonalds and burger king. her doctors must have been so oblivious to not notice what was going on.

god, I hate people like this and I bet you she's skinny too bc thats how f*ing unfair life is where those girls get away with it and then there's me who eats basically only fruits and veggies and of course I'm overweight...what the hell is wrong with this world.

it's not that weird. maybe after the pain/discomfort she simply got SCARED to eat anything else...awhile back that happened to me and after a certain incident with something i could only eat vegetables...everytime i tried to eat something else, i would get sick....but now i'm over that and i'm glad =)

This is sad! how can some people be so ignorant with food. I feel bad for people who doesn't have a good range of palate. The stuff they are missing, I don't see this as something to be jealous about, it's like being somewhat imprisoned.

If one of my now adult kids had tried that nonsense they would have starved... Cause this mom didn't play that game and still won't with grandson. You eat what you are given or have nothing. You will eat when you get hungery enough...and they did...they learned to eat a well balanced diet.

So would this make her a vegetarian? They get too much publicity. Eat some cow. Just kiddin'. I had a long phase of just eating cereal and fast food... but that's because I was a lazy college student. I've added microwavabe popcorn since then...
