I recently posted a list of the 88 worst fast food items. That list was based on the amount of trans fats in various fast foods. Now Men's Health has weighed in and picked the 20 Worst Foods in America, and this list is based not only on fats but also calories, sodium, and carbs.
Obviously, when you're talking fast food, a lot of it is going to be bad for you, but I guess it's good to have a list of specific foods and categories. For example, they name the McDonald's Chicken Selects Premium Breast Strips (5 pieces) witih Ranch Dressing as the Worst Fast Food Chicken Meal. The Jamba Juice Chocolate Moo'd Power Smoothie gets the Worst Drink nod. It's 900 calories, with 10 grams of fat and 166 grams of sugar.
What foods on the list do you regularly eat?

With so much press about the unhealthy eating habits of Americans and the grwoing wasteline, we have made a conscience effort to watch what we eat, exercise and take healthy all natural supplements from www.zylenebody.com. We found Zylene to be the best to curb our appetites and cravings and Biozyte and Nutravex fill in the vitamins, mionerals and amino acids we dont get in our diets. All together we are staying healthy! No fast food junk for us.

Eric you'll probably be the first to go.You think your so perfect. We all know you've had a big mack and frise along with a milk shake at some point in your perfect little life; unless your from a third world country somewhere.Maybe you should "remove the log from your own eye before trying to remove the toothpic from your fellow co-workers"!
And no I don't weigh 400# and live on big macs, but I do carry a "spare tire" and enjoy one once in a while.

I never get cavities in my teeth - no carbs. My husband and I never eat at fast food places, except sometimes a salad at Subway. I used to love pot pies but have now been told never to eat anything that has more than five ingredients. This cuts out all the additives and preservatives that are included in processed foods.
It really is easier and cheaper to cook and eat at home. You just need to plan ahead and shop ahead.
My grown children sometimes comment on the fact that they got home cooked meals while they were growing up. I guess that was a good thing. I also am aware that the lives of the 30 - 50 year old people have gotten busier and more out of control. I hope you all have the ability to give up fast food except for an occasional treat. You will live longer and better.

What someone looks like doesnt make them a better or bad person. I have no sympathy for you should you find yourself ill at one point. It happens to thin people too. People are free to make their own choices, some make good ones, some not so good, but it is their choice on what to eat, not to please you.

Society has demanded that you count every calorie and watched out for every bit of fat to where you're more likely to have a heart attack from stress than what you had for lunch.
Sure there's a obesity problem in America but by scaring people into starving themselves is not going to solve the problem. People seem to forget that along with obesity problems like Anorexia are a major epidemic as well.
I'm not going to say go out and pig out on junk food all day and everyday but don't be scared to have something that's not exactly healthy for you just because some company is using fear tactics to buy their sandwiches. You're not going to die because you had a hot dog (unless your allergic)

Food is fuel, nothing more, nothing less. It is not a metaphor for life but is treated by millions as such.
Many comorbid health complications arise from eating calorie rich and fat rich diets.
Overweight and belly fat are as much markers as obesity for potential heart disease and diabetis. There is a direct cause and effect of diet and exercise on ones disease risks.

My kids and I are also very active--gymnastics, martial arts, running, etc. If we do eat out, it is a treat and not part of our daily routine. I know families where eating out is their daily routine and it shows. The parents are overweight and their kids are as well. Yes, it is their choice to live that way and to raise their kids in that regard; however, when either they or their children are plagued with health problems, who will be responsible? We all need to eat responsibly and treat our bodies with respect.
