I m skeptical on the ability for coca-cola to produce a product that is healthy and that does not have ingredients to hook consumers such high fructose corn syrup but coke is coke its extremely popular

From a person with an International Business degree I believe that trading with countries no matter who they are benefits the world as a whole. It allows the world to be more efficient by letting people specialize in what they do. The only problem is the worlds pessimism about the ethics of other governments. International business is responsible for where the human race is at today and if you don't appreciate what trading with other countries have done for America and the rest of the world then go back to living in the stone age. Money makes the world go round, even the early Protestant Church changed their beliefs just to promote business. Go to school America

Coca-Cola is an American-owned worldwide conglomerate just trying to expand its business. All of the poster bitching about China probably have tons of products made in foreign countries sold by highly profitable American retailers: Gap, Old Navy, Abercrombie & Fitch, Target, Wal-Mart,Home Depot,etc. Who wants to pay $40.00 for an American made T-shirt, when you can just spend $5.99 for one at Target? There is demand for cheap products: food, clothing, and furniture, coupled with a drive to pay high dividends to stockholders, so Pacific Rim here we come! Give away our jobs, please - we, the consumers, are the reason for become a debtor nation. China gives the U.S. loans. Can you believe that? Check your labels next time you want to gripe and then blame your own self. Anybody drive a Honda or a Kia out there? You get the point.

With the way the Chinese have treated Americans by tainting the dog food to kill our pets and painted our childrens toys in lead paint trying to harm our children, now you are telling us that you are going to let them taint our coca colas. It's nice that Coca-Cola is doing something very different from other beverage companies. But besides that point...which I really don't care about anyway...whatever happened to using correct punction and English in America? I think THAT's more important here than anything. The grammar and mutilation of the English langue is appaling in these comments! I think we need to start worrying about our education system a little bit more and focusing less on what these giant corporations are doing...

What an absolute joke. I'm sure Coca-Cola really cares about traditional herbal medicine that dates back thousands of years. Let's cut the crap: they are trying to figure out creative ways to market to the Chinese, after all they do have more than 4 times the population of America. They'll have to create different ads for America, probably telling us how the drinks have "all-natural" healing powers, like Vitamin water (yeah right). And is it just a coincidence that this is happening less than one year from the Beijing Olympics, where Coca-Cola is contributing massive amounts of money to be the exclusive drink sold at the Olympics? I think not. I'm sure America can learn a lot from Chinese (and other Eastern) medicine, but don't expect Coca-Cola to be the ones to teach us. Any intelligent person doesn't equate Coke with health.
