Twix Java coming in December

Twix Java

Many "limited edition" candy bars are limited because they are tied specifically to some event or celebrity (Reese's Peanut Butter and Banana Elvis bars) or maybe a holiday. A lot of limited edition candy bars are also, well, just lame. But this ones sounds promising: Twix Java.

Besides being an excellent name for a video game character, Twix Java is a new limited edition candy bar that consists of coffee, caramel, and chocolate cookie covered in milk chocolate. The Candy Addict has tried it and really likes it.

Since this is a limited edition, maybe you can buy 20 or 30 bars for your favorite coffee/chocolate addict and put them in a Christmas stocking.

Yes,I am so glad to finally hear some one speak up for diabetics and people who have to diet, yes we do like a treat sometimes too.If they can grow tomatoes in a lab, without soil,as they have, why can't they make more tasty lower calorie foods? I know maybe if people bombbard them with email the candy bar companies will, who know's maybe some other companies also, what do you think,I don't always have time to cook for lower cal's how about you?

I prefer anything with dark chocolate, though, so I'm glad it's the "big thing" now, and many chocolate bars are coming out with a dark version. By the way, the 99 cent store and Dollar Tree are good places to find limited edition candies. They often have them when other places don't.

Dark chocolate has health benefits, especially with tyrosine it contains...which is needed for nourishing the thyroid. This is a reason people CRAVING chocolate often do not get satisfied if they eat MILK chocolate..b/c milk chocolate contains very little..often NO tyrosine which it loses during processing. Milk chocolate contains very little health benefit. In a sense it's like trying to compare highly acid very deficient white sugar or high fructose corn syrup to dark brown sugar or dark brown cane syrup or molasses which is still rich in alkalizing minerals especially such as some natural chromium still present which is a Glucose Tolerance Factor. In the case of the dark choc vs milk choc...many researchers have noted people eating dark chocolate having less hypertension...but the exact opposite seen in eaters of "milk" chocolate. The more cocoa present in the dark chocolate the higher percentage of antioxidant & flavonoid content. Dark Chocolates range with cocoa content from 50% to 90%. With chocolate being a stimulant one is expected to respect the intake of even dark chocolate..as one would do so with coffee, dark & green teas, etc. Plainly put, milk chocolate should be a NO NO, especially for people prone to staph infections..as milk chocolate, even in moderation seems to enhance staph growth in many people...while that does not seem to be the case with dark chocolate eaten in moderation. Also milk chocolate is reported to lower calcium levels much faster than dark chocolate does.
