What has 920 calories, 60 grams of fat and is designed to "really fill you up?" That would be Hardee's newest addition to their breakfast menu, the Country Breakfast Burrito. One flour tortilla contains two eggs, crumbled sausage, diced ham, bacon bits, shredded cheddar, 5 hashrounds and a big ladleful of sausage gravy. Poking around in Hardee's nutrition calculator reveals that many of their other breakfast items are nearly as nutritionally treacherous (the Monster Biscuit clocks in at 790 calories and 57 grams of fat). And just to confirm that we like our calories cheap and empty, this breakfast burrito is widely available for just $2.69. (For those of you without a Hardee's in your vicinity, it's basically the same thing as Carl's Jr. Oddly though, the comparable breakfast burrito on the Carl's Jr. menu has just 820 calories and 53 grams of fat. I guess they figured folks out west would want a slightly lighter version).

Do gooders, eat shit and get out of our lives!! If I want to eat a quart of fat, that is my choice, not yours! Get a life and leave everyone else alone!!!

If you have no self control, then you will succumb to this monstrocity, but only socialists or facists think we need protection from ourselves.

To blame restaurants and anything else on peoples actions is just crazy. The person has got to have some responsibility of their own. I had hardees this morning and it was great! I am not overweight and enjoy eating out some. People need to take responsibility for what they eat and how they treat their bodies, mind, etc. quit blaming everyone else.

These foods need to have an exorbitant tax applied which will help to pay for the exorbitant medical costs of the foolish consumers who eat them. If something doesn't happen soon, we will all have to work until we die because of health insurance premiums (Medicare will not be able to provide for our needs when we retire).

People in this country are really dumb when it comes to eating properly, and fast food restaurants know this, that's why they come up with these kinds of heart-attack-in-one-meal items. And for those of you who say, "Well, I'm thin and I can eat this, no problem", thin people can die from heart disease just as easily as an obese person. You are not immune to anything just because your weight is proportionate to your height. High blood pressure, high, artery clogging cholesterol, heart disease and diabetes is, more often than not, genetically inherited. You cannot assume that thinness is protection from any of these conditions. I would advise not eating this thing, ever.

Did you know many of these people are obese because of the food they buy with food stamps? Those food stamps have to stretch so everyone in the family has something to eat.Fresh veggies are very expensive in many parts of the country, and so is fruit. Eating healthy is cost prohibitive for many of these people. BTW, I know a great many upper wage earners in mid America that are very obese. It isn't restricted to the poor or uneducated.

I see a lot of people who never eat breakfast (I do this most times) but when I do eat breakfast, and that means your breaking a long fast over night, to getyour body enough energy and neutrients to start work and continue till lunch then you eat a medium light lunch, being much more consienious of your consumpsion and then eating very smartly in the evening.
My grand father was a farmer eating farm meals and at 60 he was diagnosed heart desease and using only 30 percent of his heart but all his "numbers" were perfect, cholesterol, triglyserides, heart rate, etc.
He was walking for the doctor and never got winded and actually felt good enough to run for a bit on the treadmill. The docs were amazed at what his listed diet was and what everything is from tests.
The big problem we have is that too many people have to eat big then sit behind a desk every day and get little or no exercise.
As a mechanic I do heavy labor, and also heavy thought as I am a diag tech too. A meal like this(less the hashrounds)or noe like BKs Enormous omlet keep me going till lunch and then I would eat much less and I always feel better if I eat but time and budget keep me at eating only 2 meals a day. But for the most part I get grief that I am fat but havent changed clothes sizes in nearly 20 years, do I need to loose a few pounds around the middle yes, but my physical appearance does change as my environmental condiditons change.
But sometime I wonder when I see a 5ft 4in 300 lb person gobbling down much more than I ever would eat and I get grief.
And if you want to help with weight issues teach them, and ask why your schools are trying to do away with PE and recess.

Here's a senerio.... mom gives little timmy $4 to buy lunch at school.. He could either stand in the long lunch line for blan food out of a box. Or on his walk to school he could stop at hardees for a flavorful, and satisfying heart attack on a plate.
Think about it. If you grow up seeing your parents eat things like that, when you outgrow the happy- meal your gonna want one too.
It's just gross
